A new future for Nelamangala

On Thursday(17-10-2019) we went to Raksha Shreee Foundation in Nelamangala where we meet the founder who is eager to start the BFN project in Nelamangala to help save more lives. In the meeting we met many energetic women who are eager to learn and start their journey as a member of the BareFoot Nurse(BFN) family. These women aim to reach 10,000 people in the first 6 months where they will screen the people for Non-Communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, etc. These women are also willing to go a step further wherein they will teach the people yoga to to promote both a physical and mental well-being. In doing so we will be able to spread awareness to people on how to live a healthier and happier life.
